Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain plant facilities, utilities, and building services to ensure safe and reliable operations.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot boiler systems, steam distribution, and associated equipment.
- Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance for boilers, pumps, compressors, chillers, HVAC, and other plant utilities.
- Monitor equipment performance, energy consumption, and utility systems to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Coordinate with contractors and service providers for maintenance, inspection, and repair works.
- Conduct regular inspections and ensure equipment complies with safety, environmental, and statutory requirements.
- Support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for equipment and utility-related issues.
- Maintain maintenance records, technical documentation, and equipment history.
- Support facility improvement, upgrade, and CAPEX projects.
- Ensure compliance with WSH, environmental, boiler/pressure vessel, and relevant regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Diploma / Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Facilities Engineering, or related discipline.
- 3-5 years of experience in plant facilities, utilities, or industrial maintenance, preferably with hands-on boiler experience.
- Good knowledge of boilers, steam systems, pumps, compressors, HVAC, and plant utilities.
- Experience in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and contractor management.
- Familiar with relevant safety and statutory requirements for boiler and pressure systems.
- Strong problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills.
- Relevant boiler / pressure vessel certification or authorised boiler operation experience is an advantage.
