Get to Know the Role

We are looking for a Facility Engineer to support the daily operations of our building, including system maintenance and the installation of new equipment. The ideal candidate will have a growth mindset, strong collaboration skills to work effectively with multiple stakeholders, and the ability to troubleshoot potential issues within facility systems and equipment.

Essential Responsibilities

• Assist in ensuring smooth operation and maintenance of critical systems including:
• Electrical distribution and water supply systems
• Clean dry air (compressed air supply)
• UPW & WWTP systems
• Chillers, process cooling, and associated pumping systems
• Air-conditioning and mechanical ventilation (ACMV) systems
• Cleanroom operations, contamination control, and environmental management
• Maintenance and repair of building M&E works
• Firefighting systems
• Other building-related tasks
• Develop and maintain utility tracking systems to monitor performance and capacity usage. Recommend and implement improvement/enhancement projects where necessary.
• Coordinate and execute projects, including liaising with contractors and internal stakeholders.
• Plan, forecast and manage project budgets effectively.
• Ensure documentation and quality control for projects in compliance with Singapore Standards.
• Contribute to creating and maintaining a safe working environment within the premises.

Skills and Competencies Profile

• Degree in Engineering or Diploma in Engineering/Facility Management
• Preferably with at least 2 years of experience in facilities management
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially MS excel and familiar with AutoCAD
• Knowledge of ISO standards
• Strong communication skills for effective coordination across multiple departments
• Willingness to be on standby and return to the office within 2 hours during emergencies
• Collaborative and cooperative personality preferred
