Job Title: Facilities Engineer
Reporting To: Facilities Manager / Senior Engineer
Role Objective:
Manage engineering systems, ensure compliance with statutory requirements, and optimize asset performance while maintaining SLA and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for Hard Services systems performance:
- ACMV, Electrical, Fire Protection, Lifts, Plumbing, ELV
- Plan, review, and optimize PM strategies and maintenance regimes.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring failures and propose corrective actions.
- Manage and review vendor performance, quotations, and scope of works.
- Prepare technical evaluations, method statements, and risk assessments.
- Ensure compliance with local authorities and regulations (e.g. BCA, SCDF, EMA).
- Support audits (internal, client, statutory).
- Review technical aspects of Variation Orders (VOs).
- Assist FSM in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Building Services).
- 5 years of FM engineering experience.
- PE registration is an advantage for regulated systems.
