Job Summary:
Resolve engineering issues and perform maintenance to minimize equipment downtime while supporting facility operations and safety activities.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and isolate root causes of equipment issues to restore functionality and minimize downtime
- Escalate unresolved incidents to supervisors promptly for further action
- Perform planned preventive maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance (RM), and service orders (SO) to maintain equipment reliability
- Document standard operating procedures and equipment checklists to ensure consistent task execution
- Collaborate with team members to monitor facility conditions and report operational impacts
- Repair, maintain, and install building equipment and systems to ensure operational readiness
- Conduct routine monitoring and spot checks on all building equipment and systems to identify potential issues
- Participate actively in the company's Emergency Response Team (ERT), first aid, and environmental health & safety (EHS) activities to support workplace safety
- Respond to calls and emails promptly and professionally to maintain effective communication
- Ensure proper handover and takeover during shift changes to maintain continuity of operations
Requirements:
- Experience and with understanding mechanical and electrical field / engineering & building services industry will be a plus
- Able to read architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical as built will be a plus
- Able to commit to 12hrs rotating shift work that includes day, night and weekends
