Job Summary
We are seeking a Facilities Electrical Engineer to lead engineering, maintenance, and the strategic development of on-site electrical systems. This role is vital to ensuring the safety, reliability, and optimal performance of electrical infrastructure that supports advanced semiconductor manufacturing. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive alignment with site, corporate, and departmental objectives.We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Electrical Engineer to lead engineering, maintenance, and the strategic development of on-site electrical systems. This role is vital to ensuring the safety, reliability, and optimal performance of electrical infrastructure that supports advanced semiconductor manufacturing. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive alignment with site, corporate, and departmental objectives.
They will contribute expert technical knowledge to advance innovative solutions, ensuring visible impact at the project or program level. The role also requires awareness of leadership skill development, fostering growth in both technical and leadership dimensions.
Champion environmental, health, and safety compliance across all electrical operations. Conduct risk assessments and promote a culture of safety and operational discipline.
Lead commissioning, maintenance, and optimization of electrical systems from 230kV to Low Voltage, including emergency generators, Dynamic UPS, and advanced power quality equipment.
Provide expert-level support for complex operational issues and lead root cause investigations using 8D problem-solving methodologies.
Coordinate resource management, system performance analysis and implementation of expansion projects to enable site growth and production demands.
Review and validate scope, schedule, and cost estimates for infrastructure upgrades. Provide engineering oversight and technical guidance during design and construction phases.
Perform risk assessments and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) to eliminate single points of failure and improve system resilience.
Mentor and develop electrical engineers and technicians through structured training programs and hands-on site engagement.
Lead post-incident reviews and drive implementation of corrective and preventive actions for system abnormalities.
Drive strategic initiatives for system capacity expansion, reliability improvement, and energy efficiency.
Lead the deployment of SMART power systems, predictive diagnostics, and digital tools to enhance team productivity and system intelligence.
Integrates AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness, exercising sound judgment and aligning with organizational standards and legal requirements.
Contributes to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI-enabled enhancements within one's scope of work.
Master's/Bachelor's/advanced degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is required
Experience in High, Medium, and Low Voltage Electrical Systems Design, Maintenance, and Operations within semiconductor or advanced manufacturing environments is preferred
Proficiency in HV/MV/LV systems, ETAP software, and IEC standards. Familiarity with SMART systems and predictive maintenance tools is advantageous.
Strong analytical, logical, and critical thinking skills

Internship or experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus
Demonstrated leadership and a track record of impact are highly desirable
Interest in and knowledge of the semiconductor industry and Micron is preferred
Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC), Design of Experiment, Engineering Statistical data analysis would be advantageous.
Ability to apply baseline digital fluency and role‑appropriate AI literacy to use AI‑enabled tools responsibly and effectively for research, analysis, content creation, problem‑solving, operational tasks, and achieving business outcomes.
