Job Description

Job Summary

The F&B Training Manager leads the delivery of structured training and brand onboarding for franchisee local teams, ensuring alignment with franchisor operational standards, brand values, and service quality. This role drives staff capability building, knowledge transfer, and pre-opening operational readiness to support successful franchise launches.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver hands-on training to local staff on franchisor-approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) including food preparation, service workflows, hygiene, and safety standards to ensure operational excellence
  • Conduct brand orientation sessions that communicate brand philosophy, customer experience standards, and product knowledge to embed brand consistency
  • Support pre-opening activities by coaching on-site, setting up workflows, and conducting operational readiness checks to ensure smooth launch execution
  • Demonstrate correct usage of equipment, tools, recipes, and systems as specified by the franchisor to maintain quality and compliance
  • Observe and assess staff performance during training sessions and provide targeted corrective coaching to uphold franchisor standards
  • Assist in implementing and localizing training materials such as manuals, SOPs, checklists, and training guides to enhance training effectiveness
  • Act as the primary liaison between franchisor and franchisee during training and onboarding phases to facilitate clear communication and alignment
  • Monitor training effectiveness and ensure operational practices comply with franchisor guidelines and brand requirements
  • Manage bartending operations by applying strong hands-on bartending skills and extensive F&B industry experience to support operational readiness

Required competencies and certifications

  • Official certification issued by Franaise Headquarters demonstrating competency in conducting and managing brand training
  • Preferred competencies and qualifications
  • Proven experience as a brand trainer, operations trainer, or senior operations role within the same franchisor brand or a similar franchised F&B concept
  • Strong understanding of franchised business models, brand standardization, and operational training
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct structured, hands-on training in a fast-paced operational environment
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to manage bartending operations with comprehensive F&B industry experience
  • Employment Type Fixed-term / Project-based (for franchise setup, pre-opening, and initial operational training phase)
