  • To work closely with Graphic Designer and with the F&B and Events Department to implement markeing communications programs and activities
  • Assist in the development and execution (includes writing and editing) of marketing collaterals, both online (e-newsletter, e-DM, micro-site etc) and print like brochures, fact sheet, menu, poster, outdoor banner etc for the department
  • Develop a strong working relationship with vendors like printer, colour separator, production house, signage vendors etc that facilitate quick work turnaround.
  • Possess strong rapport with media reporters, editors and writers, on local trade and regional media platform to assure extensive media coverage, eg, Festive seasons and other adhoc events
  • Write press releases, speeches, letters (guest complaints) and develop copy works on all marketing collaterals
  • Responsible for ensuring that Marketing Communication projects are executed on time whilst meeting the Furama's Corporate identity standards
  • To ensure that e-collaterals are distributed effectively to the stipulated database (via emails) and Furama website) and manage useful customer/guests database.
  • To act as gatekeeper to ensure job requisition from other departments are channeled appropriately and deliverables meeting the deadlines set.
  • As and always necessary, administrative chore is a must (monthly report, documentation of contracts, filing for press clippings etc)

Job Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Communication, Journalism, Public Relation, Advertising, Marketing or related fields or equivalent experience with Diploma in Mass Communications
  • Minimum 1 year experience developing diverse communications projects for a range of market segments, lifestyle, F&B, family-friendly initiatives/activations
  • Able to work independently to source for vendors/partnerships to create events and buzz
  • Strong knowledge of content development for various social media platforms
  • A strong network of PR and media contacts would be highly advantageous
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of attention to details, including a proven ability to manage multiple and competing priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and are adept at building relationships with different stakeholders
