Manage daily café operations including opening and closing procedures, customer service, and staff supervision to ensure a smooth and efficient service environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily café operations to ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction
- Operate and maintain the POS system accurately for order processing and payments
- Conduct stock taking and place orders to maintain adequate inventory levels
- Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to improve café efficiency
- Supervise and coordinate part-time staff to maintain service quality and teamwork
- Take customer orders promptly and serve food and beverages efficiently
- Prepare specific food items such as rosti, waffles, crepes, juices, milkshakes and cocktails to meet quality standards
- Serve ice cream scoops
- Clear tables to maintain a clean and welcoming environment
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the café, including kitchen areas
- Maintain a fun work environment in the cafe
