The Role
As a Floor / Service Captain, you will play an important role in ensuring smooth daily operations while delivering warm, attentive, and professional service to our guests.
You will work closely with the Front-of-House and kitchen teams to maintain service standards, respond to guests needs, and ensure every guest has an enjoyable dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and seat guests promptly and warmly, creating a positive first impression
- Familiarise yourself with the restaurant layout, menu items, promotions, and daily specials to assist guests confidently
- Prepare pre-operation and service stations to ensure the team is ready for service
- Take food and beverage orders accurately, including special requests and dietary requirements
- Enter orders into the POS system and ensure all requests are clearly communicated to the kitchen
- Recommend menu items and beverages, and upsell where appropriate
- Serve food and beverages according to service standards and the correct order sequence
- Coordinate closely with the kitchen and Front-of-House team to ensure timely and smooth service
- Proactively attend to guests needs, including clearing tables, refilling drinks, and taking additional orders
- Check in with guests throughout their dining experience and respond promptly to any concerns or requests
- Handle guest feedback professionally and work with the Supervisor / F&B Manager to resolve issues and ensure guest satisfaction
- Process and close bills accurately using the POS system
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining, service, and pantry areas throughout operations
- Assist with stocktaking, pantry organisation, and other operational duties when required
- Follow all food hygiene, workplace safety, and restaurant policies and procedures
- Support fellow team members and contribute to a positive and collaborative working environment
- Report any accidents, incidents, or operational issues to management promptly
- Carry out other duties as assigned by the Supervisor / Manager
What We're Looking For

- Willing to work shifts according to operational needs, including weekends and public holidays
- For FT candidates: Prior F&B or service experience is preferred, with bar or beverage service experience considered an added advantage
- For PT candidates: No prior experience is required; training will be provided
What We Offer
Full-Time (FT)
- Salary: SGD 2,200 – SGD 2,700/month
- 5 working days per week
Part-Time (PT)
- Salary: SGD 11.00 – SGD 15.00/hour
- Flexible weekday shifts, including Saturdays, subject to roster (minimum commitment of 3 days per week)
