Job Responsibilities
. Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant to ensure smooth and efficient service.
. Supervise and coordinate front-of-house staff, including service standards, scheduling and attendance.
. Ensure excellent customer service and promptly resolve customer feedback or complaints.
. Monitor restaurant cleanliness, hygiene and compliance with food safety regulations.
. Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely food preparation and service delivery.
. Manage inventory levels of beverages, consumables and operating supplies.
. Assist in controlling operating costs, wastage and manpower expenses.
. Support the planning and execution of private dining events, banquets and special functions.
. Train and guide service staff to maintain consistent service quality.
. Perform any other duties assigned by management.
Requirements
. At least 1 year of experience in the F&B or restaurant industry.
. Experience in Chinese restaurant operations will be an advantage.
. Able to work independently and as part of a team.
. Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure effectively.
. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
. Willing to work on weekends, public holidays and shifts when required.
. Bilingual in English and Mandarin will be an advantage to liaise with Chinese-speaking customers and staff.
