The F&B Service Ambassador is responsible for providing food and beverage service to guests in a manner consistent with hotel service standards in our F&B outlets, including our Mosella Restaurant that serves modern Mediterranean cuisine and our Lobby Lounge that serves local heritage favourites, light bites and refreshments.
Our Expectations:
Receive, write, pick-up and serve all food and beverage items.
Good knowledge of the liquor brands and categories, knows the alcoholic beverage terms and standard drink abbreviations to make beverage recommendations to the guests.
Has basic food preparation terms and able to engage and recommend to guests.
Receive all incoming reservations from the guests and ensure that reservations are accurately registered in the system.
Clean soiled items on the table or bar and bring soiled dishes to the stewarding area. Ensure table or bar is ready for service in adherence to service quality and hygiene standards.
Ensure that silverware is clean, stock the silverware trays to capacity. Remove any damaged silverware and return it to the stewarding department.
Set-up water station and water pitchers, prepare ice buckets and ice bucket stand.
Bus soiled dishes to the dish room and handle soiled restaurant linen.
Perform closing side work and cleaning duties.
Perform other ad hoc duties assigned by the Manager
We are looking for a self-motivated F&B Service Ambassador with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
