Our client is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and a strong background in infrastructure automation, networking, and security.
Key Responsibilities
- Cloud Architecture: Design and deploy cloud-based solutions that meet performance, scalability, and security requirements.
- Infrastructure Automation: Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Monitoring & Optimization: Set up monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch) and optimize resource usage to reduce costs.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure cloud environments meet industry standards and regulatory requirements (ISO, SOC, MAS guidelines).
- Networking: Configure VPCs, firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs to ensure secure connectivity.
- Collaboration: Work closely with DevOps, software engineers, and data teams to support application deployment and scaling.
- Incident Response: Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and implement disaster recovery solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering or DevOps.
- Proficiency in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
