Supplier Quality Engineer
Job Description:
Recruit123 is helping our client to hire a Supplier Quality Engineer. Our client is looking for someone to ensure the quality and reliability of components sourced from their global supplier base.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct supplier audits (ISO 9001, IATF 16949 or equivalent) and manage corrective action processes
- Interpret technical datasheets and qualification reports
- Apply FMEA, SPC, 8D, MSA, GR&R, and PPAP/APQP methodologies to drive quality improvements
- Partner with sourcing and engineering teams on supplier selection and quality strategy
- Lead cross-functional supplier negotiations on quality and reliability requirements
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Materials, Mechanical) or related field
- 5-7+ years in supplier quality or component engineering within electronics or advanced manufacturing
- Strong cross-functional communication and supplier negotiation skills
