Role Description The Export Sales Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Singapore. This position is responsible for identifying and developing export sales opportunities, managing existing client accounts, and expanding the company's international customer base. Day-to-day tasks include generating leads, preparing quotations and proposals, negotiating rates and service terms, and coordinating closely with operations and overseas agents to ensure smooth shipment handling. The role involves monitoring market trends, gathering customer feedback, and providing input on pricing strategies and service offerings. The Export Sales Executive is also expected to maintain accurate sales records, meet revenue and margin targets, and represent Eastern Oriental Logistics in a professional manner during client meetings and industry events.

Qualifications

  • Strong Communication skills, including clear written and verbal interaction, presentation abilities, and professional client correspondence.
  • Knowledge of Export processes and regulations, including documentation, customs requirements, and international shipping practices.
  • Proven experience in International Sales and Sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets in logistics or related industries.
  • Understanding of International Business concepts, global trade dynamics, and cross-cultural commercial practices.
  • Relevant experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain management, especially in Ocean, Air, or Land transport.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships and collaborate effectively with overseas agents and internal teams.
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills, with proficiency in using CRM tools and standard office software.
  • Diploma or degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, International Trade, or a related field is preferred.
  • Willingness to work on-site in Singapore and occasionally attend client visits, industry events, or training sessions.
