Export Finance Specialist
Location: Singapore
Our client, an established international bank, is seeking a seasoned Export Finance professional to drive origination, structuring and execution of complex export finance transactions across the Asia Pacificregion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead origination, structuring and execution of ECA, DFI and agency-covered export finance transactions for core and strategic clients
- Act as a key deal lead, managing transactions end-to-end from client engagement through credit approval,documentation and execution
- Drive pricing, structuring, collateral and commercial negotiations with clients, ECAs, partner banks andinternal stakeholders
- Prepare and present complex credit proposals to senior risk committees, ensuring full alignment with creditrisk appetite, ESG standards, KYC and AML requirements
- Partner closely with relationship managers, regional coverage teams and global export finance colleagues tooriginate and deliver cross-border transactions
- Originate and execute Sinosure-backed transactions, working closely with Asia Pacific coverage teams
- Build and maintain senior-level relationships with corporates, exporters, ECAs, DFIs, partner banks and marketparticipants
- Represent the bank at client pitches, industry events and regional marketing initiatives
- Contribute to business strategy, pipeline management, revenue targets and portfolio development
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members and contribute to regional initiatives and ad-hoc strategicprojects
Requirements
- University degree or equivalent qualification
- 5+ years of relevant experience in Export Finance, Structured Finance or Project Finance
- Strong expertise in credit structuring, risk assessment and transaction execution
- Proven origination and client-facing capability, with a commercial and solutions-driven mindset
- Willingness to travel across Asia Pacific, with experience in emerging markets
- Highly structured, proactive and results-oriented professional with strong intercultural and stakeholdermanagement skills
