Job Summary
The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining the bar area, and delivering excellent customer service while ensuring efficient bar operations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following company standards to ensure quality and consistency
- Deliver friendly and professional customer service to enhance guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area to meet hygiene and safety standards
- Monitor bar inventory levels and replenish stock promptly to support uninterrupted service
- Verify customers age to comply with responsible alcohol service regulations
- Process customer orders and payments accurately to ensure smooth transactions
- Collaborate with kitchen and service teams to coordinate efficient bar and restaurant operations
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety protocols consistently
- Perform additional bar and service duties as assigned to support team needs
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Previous experience as a bartender or in the food and beverage industry
- Knowledge of cocktail preparation, wines, spirits, and beverages
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with customers and team members
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
