Job Summary
Responsible for expediting and ensure continuous supply of materials to production toward to meet the output, quality, on-time delivery, safety and housekeeping in the manufacturing line with the objective of ensuring smooth business operations within department guidelines, work protocols and corporate policies.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Assist production planner/controller in monitoring, tracking and expediting (critical & hot) material supplying to the production/shopfloor
- Monitor CTB (clear to build) status closely and act as a key coordinator between material planner, store planner and production planner/control to ensure efficient of material flow/fill rate to production
- Attend production meeting and provide status on material arrival timing
- Escalate any risk/problems or abnormalities upfront to production planner/controller and supervisor for risk mitigation
- Ensure full and efficient pass down to the next shift, if any
- Perform housekeeping, adhere to manufacturing discipline and cleanroom protocol
- Support production and any relevant ad hoc duties and tasking assign by the superior
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Able to speak and write simple English
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel spreadsheet)
- Meticulous attention to numbers and detail oriented.
- Possess a planning software skill SAP, Agile, Visual Management will be advantage
Educational/Certification Requirement:.
- O/A levels, (SPM for Malaysian) or its equivalent
Experience Requirement
- 1-3 years of production support activities. Preferably in manufacturing/semiconductor industry
- Good commitment with high sense of responsibility
- Team Player
- Highly motivated and adaptable to fast paced, dynamic environment; flexible to work for extended hours as required.
