Exhibition Manager for International Art Exhibition in Singapore

About the Project:

The Moscow Art Foundation Art of the Nations is organising an exhibition in Singapore, presenting a selection of artworks from its collection (approx. 250 works) of important 20th-century artists. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Art Project Manager to lead the planning and execution of this project. The project is scheduled for 2027 (June, July and August).

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct a preliminary marketing analysis of the Singapore art market.
• Research and select exhibition venues (museums, galleries, cultural spaces) in Singapore (key locations/districts). Lead negotiations with venue owners and cultural institutions, securing the most suitable space for the exhibition (350–500 sqm, depending on wall height).
• Evaluate and negotiate the most appropriate collaboration model among various options, including but not limited to: rental model (fixed fee for space), revenue-sharing model (percentage of ticket sales / proceeds), Sponsorship model (venue provided free of charge in exchange for branding / exposure), Hybrid models (combination of the above) etc.
• Research and identify potential local partners (sponsors, media partners, cultural organisations, corporate patrons) and develop mutually beneficial partnership models.
• Coordinate potential public programmes, VIP events and media outreach in partnership with local stakeholders.
• Control and supervise the overall project budget.
• Internal logistics
• Ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations, temporary admission procedures, tax exemptions for cultural goods, etc.
• Mitigate potential risks.
• Collaborate on the promotional strategy.
• Coordinate the work of the project team.
• Regularly report to the Foundation's management on progress and opportunities.

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of proven experience in art exhibition management.
• Experience in contract negotiation and stakeholder management.

If possible:

• Network of contacts in the cultural and artistic sector in Singapore.
