As a multi-disciplinary team member, you will apply your skills in exercise programming and instruction to empower people to live better by moving better through exercise.
Our in-house training will equip you with the clinical skills, as well as sharpen your exercise prescription and instruction abilities. With these skills you will support the clinical team by executing the plans of the case lead; guide clients with appropriate exercises and instruction; and effectively communicate with members in the team so that the clients receive a high standard of care as they journey towards their goals.
This role reports to the Functional Rehab department lead, and works under the instruction of the clinical team lead of the clinic you are assigned to.
Responsibilities
- Pass our in-house training programme within two tries
- Work with case leads to get referrals
- Plan and execute exercises and sessions in consult with case leads
- Ensure clients complete their rehab journey
- Provide the team with timely updates on client's progress
Requirements
- Passion in working with clients in a musculoskeletal (MSK) setting and helping them maximise their rehab potential
- Good learning attitude/ability; pleasant vibe
- Personal Trainers/group exercise instructors looking for a stable career in a rehab role
- Fresh sports science/physiology uni grads from NTU, PSB, Deakin, Edith Cowen, UWA
- Hospital Therapy Assistants (TAs) doing musculoskeletal (MSK) rehab
- Practitioners from private MSK/chiro clinics looking to do more exercise-related work rather than using machine modalities
