The Executive (Well-Being) will play a key role in shaping and enhancing staff well-being initiatives. Reporting to the Senior Assistant Director (Well-Being & Personnel) under the Staff Development Division, the job holder will be responsible for planning, conceptualising, implementing, and reviewing programmes that align with the Department's vision and mission.

What You Will Be Working On

  • Plans, proposes, implements, reviews, and evaluates the effectiveness of well-being programmes. This includes monitoring demographic changes and staff profile to ascertain staff needs, as well as conduct surveys/focus group discussions and gather staff feedback on staff well-being matters. He/she also conducts audits and reviews of Standard Operating Procedures related to well-being initiatives to ensure continuous improvement and relevance.
  • Provides secretariat support for various committees chaired by Deputy Commissioner, including making recommendations/enhancements on existing well-being policies, schemes and benefits.
  • Manages the Welfare Budget by planning and allocating funds for various well-being initiatives, and monitoring fund utilisation to optimise fund usage.
  • Plans, implements and reviews Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policies and initiatives including coordinating with external agencies and internal units to ensure that SPS engages in meaningful CSR activities to maintain an engaged workforce.
  • Maintains and updates Corporate Cards Booking System including administering the online registration and monitoring utilisation rates for all corporate attractions. He/she also makes recommendations to renew, terminate or purchase the corporate cards based on utilisation rates and staff sentiments obtained through regular polls.
  • Manages the purchase, delivery/collection, issuance, invoice certification and payment processing of celebratory gifts, bereavement wreaths, grants and get-well hampers, and ensures all supporting documents are filed for auditing purposes.
  • Organises well-being initiatives such as Health Promotion initiatives, PSD-led initiatives, Basic Health Screening and Vaccination, Festive Bazaars, Blood Donation Drives, webinars etc. In addition, he/she nominates and works together with the HQ Welfare Committee members to organise activities for HQ staff.
  • Sources for various promotions and corporate discounts and/or membership schemes. He/she also assists with coordination for Whole-of-Government (WOG) events and processes Civil Service Club (CSC) membership fees under the CSC Co-Payment Scheme.
  • Undertakes other ad-hoc administrative duties to ensure smooth operations of Human Resource Management Group (HRMG)s functions.

What We Are Looking For

  • Meticulous, self-motivated and able to work under tight timelines.
  • Resourceful and possess strong analytical, written and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and at the same time, a good team player with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant experience in designing Electronic Direct Mail (EDM) using relevant graphic design tools such as Canva would be an advantage.
  • Prior experience in HR would be an advantage.
