Position Description:
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Executive Vice President (EVP) will provide general support to the overall company management of MECGPA. With a lean organisational structure, he/she will be able to gain broad exposure by interacting with various personnel in the company. Some of the tasks he/she may be involved in handling/ supporting the day-to-day corporate operations of the company, liaison work with MEC and its affiliates, and investor relations, particularly with existing and potential Japanese investors.

Key Responsibility Areas (KRA's):
The EVP is expected to lead the organisation in all areas of duties, in particular.
- Supporting the CEO and the Chief Operating Officer (COO) in the day-to-day corporate activities
- Supporting the finance team in the development and maintenance of the company's business plan, annual budget, and quarterly re-forecast
- Preparing a consolidated financial statement for the MECGPA Group and reporting financial information to the MEC
- Ensuring proper corporate governance
- Preparing the written resolutions or other related documents for the management of the MECGPA Group and its affiliates
- Liaising with shareholders on high-level corporate strategy and corporate governance issues
- Supporting compliance with MEC Group guidelines, particularly in the back-office matters
- Investor communications and fundraising, particularly for Japanese investors
Requirements:
- International work experience

- Fluency in Japanese, both written and spoken, for close communication with Japanese headquarters and Japanese clients
- Ability to communicate clearly with internal and external clients in English
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong writing skills in both Japanese/English
- Graduated with strong analytical skills
- Advanced Excel modelling skills
Qualifications required for the role:
- Bachelor's degree or Master's in Business Administrationor equivalent
Year of experience:
- At least 13 years of senior management experience track record of regional and/or international performance
