ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the development of YCH's annual Sustainability Report, covering environmental, social, and governance performance, including data coordination across business units and markets.
- Support the formulation, implementation, and oversight of YCH's strategy to achieve net-zero Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by 2040, while contributing to Group-wide social and governance initiatives.
- Provide analytical, coordination, and project management support to drive sustainability, social, and governance programmes consistently across all markets in which YCH operates.
JOB TASKS AND SPECIFICATIONS
- Environmental, Social and Governance Reporting
o Coordinate data collection across markets for the annual Sustainability Report, covering environmental metrics, social indicators, and governance disclosures.
o Ensure data quality, consistency, and alignment with relevant reporting standards, internal controls, and governance requirements.
o Support the drafting, review, and consolidation of Sustainability Report content and supporting documentation.
o Create sustainability-related content for social media, internal platforms, and newsletters.
- Net-Zero Strategy and Decarbonisation
o Support the development, tracking, and monitoring of initiatives aligned with YCH's net-zero roadmap.
o Analyse emissions and energy data to identify decarbonisation opportunities, risks, and performance gaps.
o Monitor developments in renewable energy, energy efficiency, and low-carbon technologies relevant to YCH's assets and operations.
o Assist in planning and executing internal sustainability and external outreach events to engage the supplier ecosystem.
- Regulatory and Market Analysis
o Monitor sustainability, social, and governance-related regulations, standards, and policies across YCH's operating markets and assess implications for reporting and strategy.
o Conduct research on sustainability and ESG trends that may impact YCH's long-term strategy and operations.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- A degree in Environmental Science, Energy, Sustainability, or a related discipline would be advantageous
- Fresh graduates are welcome, as are experienced candidates supporting sustainability, ESG, or related corporate functions.
- Demonstrated capability in data analysis and database management through academic, internship, or professional experience, with the ability to work with multi-market datasets.
- Solid understanding of sustainability and ESG frameworks, including environmental compliance and reporting expectations.
- Experience in knowledge management, structured documentation, and coordination of inputs across multiple stakeholders.
- Familiarity with environmental performance tracking and reporting mechanisms, such as emissions dashboards and sustainability disclosures.
- Strong analytical, research and writing skills, including the ability to evaluate emerging environmental technologies, regulatory developments, and market trends.
- Effective interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to engage internal teams and external stakeholders across markets.
- Proficient in spoken and written English
