Job Description

Our client, a reputable Japanese trading company. They are looking for an Executive/Senior Executive (Supply Chain Analyst, 2 Years Contract) to support supply chain operations and learn to drive transformation using AI.

This role focuses on developing both business and AI capabilities, where you will support operations, improve processes, and apply digital and AI tools to enhance productivity and decision-making.

【 Responsibilities 】
1. Operational Support & Execution
- Support day-to-day supply chain operations and coordination
- Assist in monitoring service performance (cost, service level, responsiveness)
- Ensure smooth execution of operational processes

2. Process Understanding & Improvement
- Learn and understand actual operations through observation (Gemba)
- Identify simple inefficiencies and support improvement initiatives
- Assist in aligning processes with system and data

3. AI & Digital Application
- Use digital and AI tools to support daily work (e.g. ChatGPT, automation tools)
- Assist in translating simple business scenarios into workflows
- Explore ways to improve productivity using AI

4. Data Analysis & Reporting
- Support data analysis to identify issues and trends
- Assist in basic monitoring (e.g. delays, shortages)
- Prepare reports and insights for decision-making

5. Learning & Capability Development
- Develop knowledge in supply chain operations and AI tools
- Support team initiatives in AI-enabled operations
- Continuously improve skills and capabilities

Requirement

【 Requirements & Preferences 】
(Must)
- Degree in Supply Chain/Business
- 2-5 years of experience in supply chain operations and analyst utilizing AI
- Background and knowledge of supply chain processes (planning, logistics, procurement, warehouse)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong interest and background in digital tools and AI applications
- Comfortable working in a dynamic environment and under 2 years contractual employment
- Good communication in English and Mandarin to liaise with English and Mandarin speaking counterparts
- Hands-on use of AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, automation tools)
- 2 years experience in process improvement or data analysis
- Strong curiosity and proactive learning mindset
