Executive / Senior Executive RC Operations
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Executive / Senior Executive to support the effective management and operations of our Recreation Club (RC), a key facility that provides recreational, social, and support services for migrant workers. The role involves hands-on coordination of daily activities, programme implementation, and team support to ensure a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment that enhances the well-being and community integration of migrant workers from diverse backgrounds. This position is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills, cultural awareness, and a passion for community service.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the recreation club, including facility oversight, coordination with vendors/tenants (e.g., minimarts, food outlets, remittance services), and maintenance of sports and communal spaces.
- Support the planning, organising and executing recreational, educational, and social programmes (e.g., sports events, cultural celebrations, skills workshops, and entertainment activities) aligned with the needs of migrant workers.)
- Support team operations by assisting in supervising staff and volunteers, including training, scheduling, and feedback.
- Contribute to budget monitoring, expense tracking, revenue collection from bookings/rentals, and basic financial reporting.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and regulatory requirements, including routine checks and incident reporting.
- Assist in developing and maintaining partnerships with NGOs, employers, community groups, and relevant agencies (e.g., MOM, NTUC) to support programmes and services.
- Promote club activities through outreach efforts, social media engagement, and on-site engagement to boost participation.
- Gather user feedback, track participation data, and prepare reports for management to support programme improvements.
- Handle enquiries, resolve routine issues, and help maintain a welcoming atmosphere for workers of various nationalities.
- Support any other ad-hoc tasks or projects assigned by supervisor/management
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in community or recreation facility operations, event coordination, or NGO/programme support.
- Experience working with diverse or vulnerable communities (e.g., migrant workers) is highly advantageous.
- Ability to converse in migrant workers native language (such as Hindi/Punjabi, Burmese, Tagalog or Bengli) will be an added advantage.
- Strong organisational, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to support event/programme delivery within timelines and budgets.
- Basic financial literacy for tracking and reporting.
- Excellent problem-solving, customer service, and conflict resolution abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office application (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with booking or facility management tools is an advantage.
- Genuine commitment to supporting the well-being and rights of migrant workers.
- Willingness to work on weekends, as required by the nature of the role.
