The Role

Executive / Senior Executive (Plans and Services)

We are looking for a motivated and high-potential individual to join us as Executive / Senior Executive (Plans and Services), with a focus on Rewards and Business Partnering Operations. This role is ideal for candidates who are keen to build a strong foundation in HR and develop a career in the field.

In this role, you will support organisation-wide rewards and HR initiatives that shape how NTUC attracts, rewards, and develops talent, while contributing to fair, competitive, and sustainable people practices.

Job Responsibilities

Rewards (Compensation & Benefits)

  • You will be involved in key rewards initiatives such as annual salary review exercises, bonus and AWS administration, job evaluation projects, benefits renewals and market benchmarking studies.
  • You will support the review and administration of NTUC-ARU's compensation and benefits programmes, ensuring alignment with statutory requirements, organisational policies and governance standards.
  • You will work with internal stakeholders and external partners, including insurers and brokers, on benefits administration, utilisation reviews and related projects.
  • You will have the opportunity to gain exposure to how organisations design, manage and govern rewards programmes that support talent attraction, retention and employee well-being.
  • You will participate in HR systems enhancement projects, including process reviews, user testing and implementation activities to improve operational efficiency and employee experience.

HR Business Partnering

  • You will partner Deputy Directors in providing HR support to Senior Management and departments across NTUC-ARU in areas such as recruitment, onboarding, employee lifecycle management and staff exits.
  • You will serve as a key point of contact for staff enquiries and support the delivery of HR services and solutions to stakeholders.

Management Support and Secretariat

  • You will support the HR Department's secretariat function for management meetings, including stakeholder coordination, scheduling, preparation of meeting materials and meeting logistics.

Performance & Talent Management

  • You will have opportunities to support talent and performance management processes, including preparation of manpower data, reports and materials for management discussions.
  • You may be involved in the implementation of talent management and performance review exercises, ensuring timely coordination and accurate record management.

Requirements:

  • No prior experience is required. Degree in Human Resources, Business, Economics, Finance or a related discipline; relevant professional certifications (e.g. IHRP) will be an advantage.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships and collaborate with stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to work with data and preset findings clearly.
  • Well‑organised and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver quality outcome under tight timelines.
  • Able to work independently while exercising sound judgement and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and relevant HR reporting or analytics tools; experience with rewards analytics or dashboards will be an advantage.
