The DrugFreeSG Office within Communications Division aims to drive CNB's community engagement and education efforts through preventive drug education (PDE), content development and training, outreach campaigns and community partnership.
The Planning & Development (P&D) unit of the DrugFreeSG Office is responsible for driving strategic planning and resource planning work for the Office and the wider Communications Division, as well as pushing for greater whole-of-government support for the drug-free cause.
What You Will Be Working On
As Secretariat supporting the Inter-Ministry Committee (IMC) on Drug Prevention for Youths and its Working Committee in overseeing the workplans of the member ministries and agencies, the P&D unit also provides the full suite of content development and training delivery to the IMC-appointed DrugFreeSG Champions and stakeholders to enable them to disseminate PDE through government networks and platforms.
The job holder will assist the Assistant Director in strategic planning and resource planning work. The officer will also be responsible for developing good PDE content through regular review and curation of narratives and messages to facilitate key partners amplification of consistent drug-free message effectively to target domains i.e., schools, community, parents and family.
What We Are Looking For
Job Requirements:
1. Possess strategic thinking, with ability to conceptualise and develop cohesive PDE themes.
- Good planning, writing, project management and communication skills.
- Confident in engaging senior management, key partners and target groups, including delivering presentations.
- Practical experience in developing content and organising activities preferred.
- Well-versed with government procurement procedures would be an asset.
- Work on weekends and after office hours may be required.
