Roles and Responsibilities
- Analyze statistics and evaluate spending operations to ensure consistency between costs, commercial needs, and operational execution.
- Review and manage the procurement of inland facilities (depots, ICDs, CFS) and the transportation network (trucking, barge, and rail) to meet business goals.
- Document and establish Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to cost management and inland procurement.
- Initiate and drive cost-saving projects across different departments and countries.
- Provide guidance and support on countries operational matters.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in a relevant discipline.
- Analytical mindset with good problem-solving skills.
- Proactive and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Google Workspace.
- Experience in liner shipping or familiarity with liner/intermodal procurement, operation, and IT systems will be advantageous.
