Job Description
Job Purpose:
- To drive and grow community sports in NUS.
- To drive the promotion of student development through sports participation.
- To oversee, support and develop NUS Sports Groups.
- To promote sports excellence and support student athletes pursuing high performance.
Duties & Responsibilities- Develop and manage NUS Sports Groups.
- Guide NUS Sports Groups in organising community sports activites.
- Engage sports groups and general student community to participate in regular sports activities.
- Support Sports Excellence programmes / initiatives that will include but not limited to;
- NUS Sports Scholarships
- Support for National Athletes
- Review the performance of NUS teams
- Outreach to prospective students athletes
- Support for SUSC efforts
- Support the section's efforts in the following;
- Organisational Excellence
- Review Utilisation of Sports Facilities
- Support the development of sports leaders and scholarship holders.
Qualifications
- Degree holder preferably in the area of Sports Management or Sports Science. Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply,
- Interest and/or experience in data and data analysis will be an advantage.
- Excellent social skills.
- Strong interest in sports.
- Passion and aptitude for student development.
- Organised with strong administrative skills.
