Job Summary

You will manage HR and volunteer processes to support the Singapore Scout Association's mission, ensuring effective recruitment, onboarding, training, and policy compliance to foster a thriving community of staff and volunteers.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes for staff
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records using HR software to ensure data integrity
  • Coordinate and deliver staff training, development programs, and team cohesion events to enhance workforce capabilities
  • Provide clear guidance on HR policies, conduct performance reviews, and develop staff development plans to support employee growth
  • Prepare detailed HR reports and collaborate with management to implement HR policies effectively
  • Support volunteer recruitment, induction, deployment, and maintain volunteer records aligned with organizational policies
  • Coordinate volunteer recognition events and manage volunteer application processes to enhance engagement
  • Facilitate volunteer meetings and ensure completion of mandatory training to maintain compliance and readiness

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in human resource management
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and proactive mindset
  • Proficient in spoken and written English for effective communication
  • Skilled in MS Office (Excel, Word) and Google applications for administrative tasks
  • Demonstrates initiative and meticulous attention to detail in task execution
  • Collaborative team player who contributes to a positive work environment
  • Immediate availability is preferred to support timely onboarding
