Roles and Responsibilities
- Act as the Person-in-Charge (PIC) for specific regions, serving as an operational bridge between the Digital Solutions Unit, Container Flow Management, and Regional/Front Offices.
- Serve as the OASIS PIC for designated regions, overseeing achievement ratios, conducting root cause analysis, and establishing action plans to achieve targeted KPIs.
- Act as the EPCAS PIC for specific regions, reviewing repositioning costs applied to shipments holistically, conducting monthly regional reviews, and handling inquiries from GHQ/RHQ/FO with logical solutions.
- Promote global digital transformation across Regional and Front Offices by driving key solution rollouts (e.g., EPIC – Empty Planning Integrated Chorus), identifying manual processes for optimization, and gaining user buy-in for implementation.
- Provide data analytics support and define BI requirements in Looker for the department, delivering accurate reporting alongside high-level and deep-dive analytical commentary.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics or related.
- Minimum 2 years of experience within the Container Shipping industry.
- Proficiency in Business Intelligence (BI) tools, with Looker preferred, to present insightful data commentary and drive follow-up actions.
- High proficiency in written and spoken English, with strong communication skills to articulate solutions clearly to non-technical, international audiences.
- Proven ability to analyze complex datasets, execute comparative analysis, and deliver clear recommendations.
- Highly self-motivated and adaptable, with the capability to work effectively both independently and as part of a global team.
- Technical skills or familiarities in Python, Google App Script, or Google App Sheet are a plus.
