Executive/Senior Engineer, NSEWL S&C Maintenance

Brief Summary

Join a dynamic team as an Executive Engineer, where you will lead maintenance operations for advanced railway signaling systems and platform screen doors. This role focuses on enhancing reliability and efficiency through effective technical guidance and team leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise in resolving complex trackside maintenance issues, including fault troubleshooting and testing. Support engineering studies and reliability analysis to identify improvement opportunities within the signaling system. Enhance maintenance readiness by refining fault response procedures and incorporating new technologies. Optimize resource allocation and track access to improve maintenance efficiency. Conduct periodic reviews of work instructions to ensure alignment with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Supervise and guide Assistant Engineers and Technical Officers in compliance with established procedures and instructions. Manage and control maintenance spare parts effectively. Coordinate project-related inspections, including Factory Acceptance Tests and Handover Inspections. Engage actively in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline operations and reduce waste. Mentor a high-performing team, fostering discipline and operational excellence. Perform administrative tasks and other responsibilities as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline. Proven experience in asset management, budgeting, and engineering maintenance management. Proficient in stakeholder management, safety and health culture development, and regulatory compliance. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
