Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renown wildlife parks which connect visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore's Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.
Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Coach, train and motivate retail assistants in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations at retail outlets;
- Deliver exceptional customer service to guests and answer guest queries on store/ park related matters;
- Actively acquire and demonstrate product knowledge and recommend suitable merchandise to guests;
- Gather and share feedback on product quality, pricing etc and feedback to Managers for follow up;
- Upkeep visual displays of merchandise and recommend changes if needed;
- Support and execute product launches and campaigns;
- Conduct experiential activities for guest engagement.
- Work with Managers to meet financial targets (e.g. sales targets, reduce losses);
- Assist in periodic stocktakes and ensure stock accountability;
- Plan and execute stock ordering, reducing loss of sales opportunities;
- Operate SAP and point-of-sales system, ensuring accuracy in inventory and revenue collection in compliance of standard operating procedures;
- Plan staff coverage and ensure accuracy in staff attendance reporting; and
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Minimum GCE N/O Level
- 3 years relevant experience in retail operations
- Previous experience in conducting experiential activities will be an advantage
- Supervisory experience preferable
- Passion in interacting with guests
- Good communication skills
- Able to commit on Weekends and Public Holidays
