Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities as part of Residential Life team
- Assist in Outreach, Corporate Communications & Student Life
- Provide support, coordination and guidance to student leader teams for RH residential programmes such VIP visits, Master's & Fellow Tea, Forums, Freshmen Orientation programme etc
- Pandemic support in hostel - safe management measures, isolation procedures, rostered routine testing, meals support
- Support the Hall Master in crisis management cases including intervention, response and follow up
- Provide advisory supports to students on issues and coordinate with Resident Fellows for follow-up
- Provide timely and effective administrative, logistical and welfare support to the Resident Staff and students
- Maintain accurate student disciplinary records in NUS databases
- Provide timely and effective administrative, logistical and welfare support to the Residential Life team and students
- Record and maintains inventory lists
- Assist in fire and safety management
- Handling ad-hoc projects as and when assigned
- Occasionally required to work past office hours
Qualifications
- A University degree or a Polytechnic Diploma with at least 3 years of working experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and good team player
- Analytical, strong planning and organizational skills
- Good writing, communication, interpersonal and time-management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to be flexible and nimble to be effective in diverse settings
- Candidates with experience in hostel management will have an advantage
