Job Description

Our client, a renowned animation, film, and entertainment company specializing in IP and visual content licensing, merchandising, and marketing across Southeast Asia, is seeking an Executive (Product Planning / IP Business).

This role focuses on upstream product planning and development for merchandise leveraging Japanese IPs, while supporting business expansion across the Asia region.

【 Responsibilities 】
- Plan and develop merchandise/products based on entertainment IPs (concept creation and product design)
- Conduct market research and propose product ideas aligned with trends
- Coordinate with manufacturers and suppliers for product development and production
- Liaise with licensees and distribution partners
- Support marketing and promotional activities for product launches
- Collaborate closely with HQ in Japan on project execution
- Plan merchandise strategies for events and promotional campaigns

Requirement

【 Requirements & Preferences 】
(Must)
- 2-5 years of working experience in IP-related industries
- Experience in product planning, product development, or merchandising
- Ability to conceptualize products based on market needs

(Advantageous)
- Understanding of OEM/ODM or manufacturing processes
- Knowledge of marketing or brand strategy
