Warehouse and Cold Chain Management
Job Summary
The Work-Study Programme (WSP) Trainee will be provided with opportunities in the different business operations within ST Logistics.
This Will Include Supply Chain And Logistics Functions
- Procurement
- Warehouse operations
- Distribution
- Order processing
He/she will undertake a range of responsibilities to gain exposure and experience in various aspects of supply chain operations and core supply chain processes such as supply and demand planning and inventory management. He/she will work alongside with assigned coach for hands-on training.
He/she is expected to work with individuals and take on assigned projects implementation (if any)
Analytical and logical, he is required to explore solutions and analyse the feasibility of plans. He is also expected to coordinate closely with internal and external stakeholders to implement processes and technology, involvement in projects amongst others.
Job Responsibilities/Key Tasks(External)
Warehousing Operations
- Perform planning of resources within business activities
- Develop warehouse planning methods, warehouse storage and layout plans.
Business Administration Operations
- Manage stakeholders to monitor completion of requirements and activities.
Business Process/Continuous Improvement
- Undertake continuous improvement projects related to the areas that they are
placed to demonstrate understanding and add value where possible.
Drive Technology Application and Integration Activities
- Review areas in logistics operations where technology can enhance processes.
- Facilitate key activities and milestones in technology projects
Drive Logistics Solutioning Services
- Develop plans to implement innovative logistics solutions,
Sales and Customer Service
- Support managers in the management of key accounts through maintaining close
contact with stakeholders.
Freight Operations
- Provide support to manage and coordinate all aspects of the freight forwarding
process, including shipping, customs clearance, and delivery
Manage Green Procurement Activities
- Prepare for and administer tender requirements and liaise with Quality Assurance and Warehouse for inputs
Regulatory and Compliance(Healthcare)
- Adopt risk management and risk assessment activities for compliance with risk and regulatory requirements
Others
- Undertake any assigned projects / duties directed by Management(if any)
Job Requirements
- Proficient in MS Office Applications / Microsoft Power Platform Applications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Strong attention ton detail and organisational skills
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices.
Professional Qualifications & Relevant Experience
- Diploma in Supply Chain management, logistics, Engineering, business management or a related field
