Who We Are
Singapore Pools was established by the Singapore government on 23 May 1968 to provide safe and trusted betting to counter illegal gambling. As a not-for-profit organisation, it makes contributions to the Tote Board to fund a wide range of causes in social service, community development, sports, arts, education and health sectors.
Since 2004, over $5 billion have been channelled to the Tote Board. In addition, Singapore Pools also contributes about $2 billion annually to the Government in the form of taxes and duties. Its responsible gaming practices have been awarded the highest level of certification (Level 4) by the World Lottery Association's Responsible Gaming Framework since 2012.
Since inception, Singapore Pools staff have a long-standing commitment to doing good and giving back to those in need. Staff volunteers support activities held all year round, from helping disadvantaged children, youth-at-risk, underprivileged families, and elderly, to conserving the environment.
Job Purpose
Reporting to the Assistant Manager, Learning Operations, you will manage day-to-day operations of our learning platforms, support dashboards and reporting, and drive practical automation initiatives. Within established system and policy frameworks, you will enhance Academy's learning ecosystem by improving workflows, supporting system governance, and adopting modern digital and AI-enabled tools that reduce manual effort and improve learner experience. The role also develops user guides, training materials, and knowledge resources to build digital confidence within Academy and the wider organisation.
What You'll Do
Learning Systems & Digital Operations
- Manage the day-to-day administration of learning systems and platforms, ensuring smooth operations and a positive user experience.
- Maintain accurate course data, learner records, metadata tagging, and platform housekeeping.
- Support content uploads, system updates, user access, and routine system checks.
- Provide first-level troubleshooting and coordinate with vendors or IT teams on technical issues.
- Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT), system enhancements, and process improvements.
- Identify manual or repetitive processes and implement practical automation and workflow improvements using Power Automate, Power Apps, or approved digital tools to enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and save administrative time.
Reporting & Business Support
- Support data analysis to provide insights for management decision-making.
- Monitor project progress, timelines, and budget tracking where required.
Learning Administration & Stakeholder Support
- Coordinate training logistics, learner registrations, vendor liaison, and programme administration.
Who You Are
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, HR, Learning & Development, or related disciplines.
- Experience with LMS platforms is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate / Power Apps) and good proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook are preferred.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines effectively.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and process quality.
- Good communication skills with a service-oriented mindset, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively with stakeholders.
