1. Job Description
- Oversee the Islamic & Moral aspects of residents daily.
- Develop and plan a structured Islamic & Moral education program for the residents.
- Execute and manage the Home's Islamic & Moral Education programs for residents.
- Ensures that all residents are equipped with basic Islamic knowledge.
- Teaching students to read Quran with proper Tajweed and helping students memorize Surahs.
- Create own in-house program for those residents that needs extra help on religious.
- Periodically assess residents progress Islamic & Moral education through observations and assesments.
- To help our residents to instil in the same love of knowledge, and earn good conduct and affection for others and establishes the integrity and self-confidence.
- To do whatever it takes to achieve PERTAPIS objectives in accordance with the guidance received from PERTAPIS.
- Submit a report at the end of academic year to the Head of Home on achievement of residents in religious aspects during the year. The report will be forwarded by Head of Home to the Management.
- Study individual cases of residents who show signs of negative behaviour and provide the guidance and advice.
- To be involved in all PERTAPIS religious activities as requested by the Management.
- Any other duties from time to time as assigned by the Head of Home.
2. Candidate Requirements
- Diploma/Degree holder in Islamic Studies from recognized institution
- ARS Certified/PCICS graduate is welcomed.
- Multilingual in Malay and English
- Microsoft office proficiency
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skill
- Great work team player
- Positive self-motivated and able to commit to flexible working hours.
3. Work Schedule
5 days work week
Monday to Friday : 9am - 6pm
