Wine Connection owns and operates the largest chain of wine retail shops and full-service wine-themed restaurants in Thailand and Singapore. We are the exclusive importer of 300+ labels of wines from around the world, craft beers, glassware and related accessories, as well as selected delicatessen products.
Since our inception in 1998, Wine Connection has steadily grown the number of wine retail shops and diversified into the full-service restaurant business by introducing the integrated retail wine shop restaurant concept, becoming the leader in Asia with over 100 outlets to date, and counting.
Key Responsibilities:
Weekly Operations & Stock Management
- Place weekly orders for all stores based on par levels, planograms (POG), space planning, sales trends, and forecasts.
- Ensure accurate and timely replenishment to maintain >95% stock loading and availability.
- Manage and execute the weekly wine tasting initiative across stores.
Monthly Planning & Execution
- Plan, develop, and roll out monthly store-specific planograms (POG) according to brand guidelines and Deal of the Month (DOTM) requirements.
- Implement approved marketing promotions and pricing mechanics across all retail stores.
- Ensure promotional sets and pricing are executed accurately and on time.
Quarterly Retail Audit
- Conduct quarterly retail audit checks across all stores to ensure compliance with merchandising standards, stock accuracy, and display guidelines.
- Follow up with stores on rectifications and submit audit reports.
Projects & Ad Hoc Initiatives
- Develop and propose store layout enhancements to improve store traffic and strengthen brand visibility.
- Coordinate the printing and rollout of all price tags and promotional tags for the store network.
- Support new store openings, refreshes, and brand projects where required.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field.
- 13 years of experience in retail operations, merchandising, or the FMCG sector; experience in the wine industry is a strong advantage.
- Strong planning, coordination, and analytical skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced, multi-store retail environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
