Purpose & Scope
The internship Program aims to create awareness and promote, among the students an on-the-job learning platform to ensure the internship provides career-related work experiences that are meaningful and complement a student's area of study, develop professional skills and provide experiential learning opportunities. At the same time, to gain a good understanding of Sembcorp Specialised Construction business and operations.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Work with Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and other BIM software to create and update digital models.
- Support engineers and architects in clash detection, coordination, and visualization of project designs.
- Assist in the preparation of drawings, schedules, and documentation for project planning and execution.
- Conduct model audits and quality checks to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of BIM workflows.
- Research and implement best practices in digital construction and automation.
- Assist in organizing and managing project data within Common Data Environment (CDE) platforms.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in, BIM Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of BIM concepts, 3D modeling, and digital construction workflows.
- Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and other BIM-related software is an advantage.
- Keen interest in digital construction, automation, and emerging BIM technologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
