About the Programme
Meals with Love (MwL) offers a spectrum of assistance, primarily in the form of grocery vouchers, for identified lower-income families to defray their living expenses. The goal is to help them break the poverty cycle, and achieve financial independence.
Steady Steps Scheme (S^3) is an extension of MwL that provides focused assistance to families with full time employment. The goal is for these families to achieve financial self-reliance within two years. This pilot programme supports carefully identified families in prioritizing debt clearance and building a financial buffer through a targeted assistance approach.
Job Purpose
Oversee the administration and operations for the successful execution, finetuning and expansion of the Meals with Love (MwL) and Steady Steps Scheme (S^3) programmes, including engaging corporate and community partners and stakeholders as well as establishing a regular pool of volunteers and volunteer-leaders for the programme.
Job Responsibilities
. Oversee and coordinate programme operations, including leading the planning, preparation, intake assessment and disbursement of Meals with Love (MwL) vouchers and Steady Steps Scheme (S) financial aid, ensuring timely and effective assistance to families across multiple distribution points.
. Support beneficiary engagement & case follow-up for S, including monitoring and/ or conducting home visits for selected families maintain communication with beneficiaries in a respectful, professional and compassionate manner.
. Volunteer and stakeholder management, including coordinating and engaging volunteers for outreach and delivery, supporting partner collaborations and project-based initiatives and ensuring alignment with programme values and goals.
. Logistics & resource support, including overseeing and coordinating the distribution of vouchers for mobility-challenged clients, care packs or other ad-hoc deliveries, ensuring vendor/ partner liaison and logistics planning are well-managed.
. Ensure smooth administrative processes and compliance to financial SOPs, including updating workflows and records, tracking collection, and digitalising processes where possible to improve programme efficiency.
. Support programme monitoring & reporting, including analysing data, especially for the pilot run of S, contributing to donor reports and internal impact tracking and evaluation.
. Support programme growth and development, including contributing to research on new and existing initiatives, surfacing gaps or trends and recommending interventions to strengthen the goals of family resilience, food security and financial independence.
. Provide cross-programme support where needed, collaborating with other departments and projects to ensure integrated service delivery and shared learning across teams.
Job Specifications
Qualifications and Experience
. Min. Bachelor degree
. Meticulous, with good administrative skills
. 1 - 3 years of experience working in in non-profit or social service settings preferred
. Good command of spoken and written English
Additional Skills and Knowledge
. Strong administrative and organisational skills, with attention to detail.
. Proficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite familiarity with basic design tools such as Canva or equivalent software is an advantage.
. Comfortable handling data entry, documentation, and digital filing systems.
. Ability to learn and adapt to new digital platforms or systems used in programme management and reporting.
