Job Description

As part of the Marketing team, you will support school engagement initiatives, ensuring quality, timeliness, and effectiveness in our marketing communications to drive awareness of outreach efforts and activities for our audience specifically to schools and youths. Beyond this, there needs to be awareness and readiness to support marketing to our full audience segments including PMEBs, families, schools, youths and seniors.

Key Responsibilities

School & Youth Outreach and Engagement

  • Support the planning and driving school outreach initiatives to achieve business objectives and KPIs, including but not limited to group bookings for programmes, learning journeys and trails for the Preschool, Primary and Secondary Schools segment.
  • Identify and engage with potential educators and key institutions to drive reach, engagement and conversion with our key audiences.
  • Liaise with various internal stakeholders to create content and marketing materials that effectively communicate key engagement programmes and initiatives.
  • Work closely with Programming and Customer Experience teams to develop and enhance Esplanade's programmes and centre experience offerings for schools and youths including but not limited to new tour experiences and other engagement activities.
  • Establish a network of reliable contacts to maximise publicity for Esplanade.

Marketing and Operations

  • Assist in developing and implementing engagement strategies to connect and engage with key audience segments (School, Youth and Family) including creating public awareness of the Esplanade brand, the Esplanade&Me membership programme and our centre offerings for these targeted segments.
  • Assist the Manager/Senior Manager to develop and implement marketing strategies and plans, to ensure quality experience for audiences and drive engagement goals.
  • Support in ensuring smooth marketing operations matters of programmes and campaigns for these segments. Usually, a role that requires working with and liaison with other departments and vendors.
  • Provide administrative support to the department, including but not limited to processing of invoices, budget tracking, and reports.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum diploma or university degree in Business, Marketing or related discipline
  • Minimum 1-3 years working experience preferably in B2B Sales and/or Marketing with keen interest in performing arts and education.
  • Experience working with or in schools or education sector will be desired.
  • Meticulous and excellent attention to detail
  • Collaborative team player
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and multiple deadlines
  • Highly motivated, goal-oriented individual
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
  • Competent in MS Office (particularly Excel and PowerPoint)
  • General knowledge and interest in the arts is important
  • Salary range: $3,600 - $3,900
