Coordinate and support BCA's heat related initiatives under the Whole of Government Heat Resilience plan, including cooling technologies for buildings and climate resilient infrastructure
[What you will be working on]
At GBPTD, we drive research in innovative cooling technologies and support adoption of cooling strategies for the built environment sector.
As a senior manager in GBPTD, you will be expected to:
- Coordinate and administer effective industry programmes (including grants), to support heat resilience and energy efficient efforts.
- Engage proactively with internal and external stakeholders to review building resilience standards and response plans, and to drive adoption of promising cooling technologies.
The Work May Include
- Keeping abreast of emerging innovations and impactful technology development, and relevant policy initiatives across WOG
- Managing the administration of research grants and oversee the translation of promising solutions
- Identifying potential opportunities for R&D translation, leveraging regular and effective engagement mechanisms to foster meaningful collaborations
- Coordinate and collaborate with interagency counterparts to support WOG heat resilience efforts
[What we are looking for]
- Tertiary qualification in engineering, building or construction-related disciplines
- Strong interest in technology and innovation
- Strong analytical, writing,and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently as well as effectively within a team, and able to operate with confidence in professional engagement and networking settings
- Motivated individual
