[What the role is]
Working in the Finance Department, you will be responsible for the following:
[What you will be working on]
- Perform finance and accounting functions, including but not restricted to accounting for daily revenue collection, accounts payable, month-end closing, fixed assets, fees and charges costing, bank reconciliations and preparation of management reports
- Functional lead for Fixed Assets related matters
- Responsible for preparing the asset listings and coordinating asset sighting exercises
- Liaise with departments and agencies on returns and submissions
- Prepare audit schedules for statutory and other audits
- Provide advice and support on financial matters
- Attend to requests or enquiries from external and internal customers
- Manage and review user access, roles, and permission within finance systems to ensure proper access controls are maintained
- Plays an active role in the implementation and upgrading of fixed asset management systems and related system projects

- A Degree in Accountancy or related discipline with a minimum of 6 years of relevant working experience
- Positive and highly motivated, flexible, and resourceful
- Meticulous and able to exercise sound judgement
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- A good team player and able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Able to leverage technology and automation tools to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency
