Job Description

JOB PURPOSE

The HR Executive will provide full-spectrum HR generalist support across the full employee lifecycle and across assigned departments. The incumbent will work closely with managers, employees, and the HR team to support recruitment, onboarding, probation, performance management, employee engagement, learning & development, HR operations, and general employee matters.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Providing HR generalist support to assigned departments and serving as a point of contact for routine HR matters
  • Supporting and managing employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, probation, performance management, contract renewals, employee movements, and offboarding
  • Supporting recruitment activities, including interview arrangements, candidate shortlisting, offer coordination, and recruitment follow-up
  • Supporting Learning & Development activities, including training calendar management, training tracking, training feedback and reporting, training administration, and course registrations
  • Maintaining accurate HR records, trackers, reports, employee documentation, and HRIS updates
  • Supporting assigned HR projects, process documentation, process improvements, policy reviews, and employee communication initiatives
  • Identifying recurring people issues, employee concerns, morale risks, process gaps, or potential HR risks, and escalating them appropriately
  • Providing backup support to HR colleagues during peak periods or absences and
  • Any other projects assigned.

JOB SPECIFICATION

Qualifications:

  • Diploma/ Degree, preferably in Human Resources Management or Business Management

Experience[1] :

  • 3 - 5 years of HR generalist experience
  • Ideally 2 years of experience supporting L&D processes and initiatives
  • Experience in a similar setting such as social service, charity, community care, non-profit or humanitarian work would be advantageous, but is not mandatory
  • Good understanding of HR processes across the employee lifecycle
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders independently

Additional skills and knowledge

  • Detail-oriented, organised, and proactive in follow-up
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive employee information with maturity and discretion
  • Proficient in Google Workspace
