About the role
The HR Shared Services Executive plays a vital role in managing HR operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance throughout the employee lifecycle. Key responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day HR processes such as onboarding, payroll, and benefits administration, while maintaining accurate employee records and data integrity.
The scope of responsibilities includes the following
- Data Management: Maintain and update employee information in the Human Resource Information System (HRIS), ensuring accuracy and timeliness for payroll processing and benefits administration
- Onboarding and Offboarding: Oversee the onboarding process for new hires and manage the offboarding process for leavers
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance HR processes and implement changes to increase efficiency and accuracy
- Claims Processing: Manage and process employee claims and benefits promptly, addressing exceptions and complex queries
- Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with vendors to resolve any issues related to claims and benefits
- Compliance and Reporting: Assist in regulatory submissions (e.g. Work Injury Compensation Act ) and manage reimbursement processes through platforms such as the CPF portal
Required Qualifications
- Diploma/ Degree in Business or HR Management
- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience
Required Competencies / Skills / Knowledge
- Strong knowledge of Employment Act (EA) and HR practices
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Prior working knowledge in SAP or SuccessFactors is essential
- Experience with RPA for HR service delivery would be advantageous
