About the role

The HR Shared Services Executive plays a vital role in managing HR operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance throughout the employee lifecycle. Key responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day HR processes such as onboarding, payroll, and benefits administration, while maintaining accurate employee records and data integrity.

The scope of responsibilities includes the following

  • Data Management: Maintain and update employee information in the Human Resource Information System (HRIS), ensuring accuracy and timeliness for payroll processing and benefits administration
  • Onboarding and Offboarding: Oversee the onboarding process for new hires and manage the offboarding process for leavers
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance HR processes and implement changes to increase efficiency and accuracy
  • Claims Processing: Manage and process employee claims and benefits promptly, addressing exceptions and complex queries
  • Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with vendors to resolve any issues related to claims and benefits
  • Compliance and Reporting: Assist in regulatory submissions (e.g. Work Injury Compensation Act ) and manage reimbursement processes through platforms such as the CPF portal

Required Qualifications

  • Diploma/ Degree in Business or HR Management
  • 2 to 3 years of relevant experience

Required Competencies / Skills / Knowledge

  • Strong knowledge of Employment Act (EA) and HR practices
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Prior working knowledge in SAP or SuccessFactors is essential
  • Experience with RPA for HR service delivery would be advantageous
