This role reports to the Manager, Home Care Services (HCS).
Responsible for executing and digitalization of the administrative, financial and operational functions of HCS when assigned, in an accurate and timely manner, contributes positively in building team relationships, smooth functioning and development of the service.
Job Responsibilities:
Assigned Service - Home Palliative Care:
Referral Management e.g. alerting the clinical team of new referrals, ensuring the completion of acceptance/ rejections within the accepted timeframe.
Update patients data into finance and operational electronic systems.
Administer billing, fee collection, Palliative subvention claims, MediSave claims, and MediFund application within the accepted timeframe.
Maintain records of service utilization for collation/extraction as statistics.
Update administrative, financial or operational aspects of HCS Manual.
Support licensing & accreditation audits from MOH, AIC and other regulatory authorities.
Communicate effectively with patients/families, understand their needs, sign-post where appropriate and inform nurse-in-charge of the discussions.
Communicate accurately and succinctly with fellow team members for effective problem-solving.
Assigned Service - Home Health:

Administer billing, fee collection, Intermediate and Long Term Care (ILTC) subvention claims, MediSave claims, and MediFund application within the accepted timeframe.
Contact patients/families to recover outstanding balances. Inform the clinical team and refer to Medical Social Worker (MSW) if unable to pay.
Contact family/patients to arrange clinical home visits according to staff calendar.
Maintain records of service utilization for collation/extraction as statistics.
Update administrative, financial or operational aspects of HCS Manual.

Job Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare or Digital fields.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially in Excel) and SAP.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in Administration and Finance, experience in digital fee recovery and EPIC Next Generation are added advantages.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
