The Group Talent Development Executive will support the Group Talent Development function by managing talent development and employee engagement to achieve the business objectives and maximizing the efficiency of an organisation.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Talent Management & Development
- Support the talent management and development initiatives of the company.
- Ensure the fulfilment of learning & development needs and meeting competency gaps by: conduct learning needs analysis and assessment to identify these needs; support in the sourcing, evaluation, and selection of external training vendors to meet these training needs request; provide training administration support and execute the deployment of learning solutions.
- Maximise the training budget through sourcing of grants that is available from suitable government agencies.
- Support in succession planning strategy by collating learning needs of identified potential talents and tracking their development assessments.
- Provide support in compiling learning data and management reporting.
- Deliver orientation briefings and programmes for new hires.
Employee Welfare & Engagement
- Support the employee welfare and employee engagement initiatives.
- Provide support in managing staff welfare programs such as employee recognition programs & other employee engagement activities - townhall, festive celebrations etc.
Employee Engagement Surveys
- Support in the implementation of employment engagement surveys, collation of survey findings, management reporting and identify possible action plans for engagement.
Health & Safety (Wellness)
- Support in prompt execution of measures related to the Health & Safety framework with focus on complying with prevailing health advisories, not limited to Covid-19.
- Support in the smooth implementation and maintenance of employee wellness initiatives eg Employee Mental Wellness Program.
- Track the effectiveness of health and wellness initiatives.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource, Business, Business Administration or equivalent
Skills, Knowledge and Relevant Experience
- Minimum 2 years of talent management and development experience
- Familiar with learning and development best practices
- Work experience in Retail or FMCG
- Good knowledge of local employment laws and regulations
- Ability to demonstrate high level of tact in handling confidential information
- Proficient in MS Office especially in MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong communication and good interpersonal skills
- Pro-active, meticulous and highly organised
- Good team player, highly motivated and committed
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Proficiency with technology tools such as Qualtrics, Canva, AhaSlides, Slido and similar platforms is an added advantage
- Proven experience in planning and executing corporate events
