Job Description
- Responsible for department's research programmes admission
- Process online applications for admission to the Postgraduate (Research) Programmes which includes following up with applicants to ensure proper completion of required information for shortlisting by the Postgraduate (PG) committee
- Manage the admission process which includes preparing interview documents and informing shortlisted applicants for interviews
- Approval processing for successful applicants
- Communicate successful outcome to selected applicants and thesis advisors
- Process claims related to conferences and field trips made by PG students
- Support department examination functions including preparation of documents for Board of Examination (BoE) meetings
- Responsible for the recruitment of Non-Graduating Non-Exchange (NGNE) Research Students
- Leading and coordinating the outreach initiatives
Qualifications
- Degree Holder with min 2 years of working experience
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
- Able to multi-task and work with people at different levels
- Meticulous, independent and strong follow-up
