As the Executive Director, you will play a pivotal role in leading, expanding, and strengthening our Singapore operations.
1. Leadership & Operations
Lead day-to-day operations of the Singapore company, ensuring smooth functioning across compliance, operations, HR, finance, and business support.
Build and scale a high-performing team as the business grows.
2. Regulatory & Compliance Oversight
Ensure ongoing adherence to MAS requirements under the Payment Services Act.
Oversee regulatory reporting, audits, internal controls, safeguarding, TRM, and governance processes.
Act as a key liaison with MAS, auditors, and banking partners.
3. Business Growth
Develop and expand partnerships with banks, payment service providers, platforms, and marketplaces.
Identify SEA business opportunities and drive commercial initiatives.
Work closely with HQ to align strategy, rollout products, and support regional growth.
Who We Are Looking For
Must-Have Qualifications
Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident or an EP holder.
Strong leadership experience in fintech, payments, banking, or financial services.
Solid understanding of MAS regulatory expectations and the operational requirements of a Major Payment Institution (MPI).
Prior experience interacting with MAS and managing compliance frameworks.
Meets MAS Fit and Proper requirements (integrity, competence, financial soundness).
Excellent communication skills: English & Mandarin are required. Cantonese a plus.
Nice-to-Have
Experience scaling teams or building new business units.
Strong regional exposure in SEA markets.
Existing relationships with local banks or payment partners.
