Job Summary

The Executive Director leads CCCS with strategic vision and operational oversight, ensuring mission alignment, organisational sustainability, and strengthened community impact as a trusted social service provider.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of CCCS strategic direction aligned with its Canossian identity and mission
  • Collaborate with the Board to ensure effective governance, transparency, and long-term organisational sustainability
  • Analyze sector trends to position CCCS for future growth and relevance
  • Uphold and integrate CCCS Catholic ethos in leadership and operational decisions
  • Foster a culture of care, service, integrity, and formation across all teams
  • Motivate and guide staff to embody the mission in their daily work
  • Oversee programme delivery across multiple service units to ensure effectiveness and impact
  • Manage financial health by directing budgeting, funding strategies, and resource optimisation
  • Enhance organisational systems, processes, and capabilities for operational excellence
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, funders, partners, and the community
  • Represent CCCS as a credible and respected voice within the social service sector
  • Develop and execute donor engagement and fundraising strategies to support organisational goals
  • Lead, develop, and empower a high-performing leadership team to achieve organisational objectives
  • Drive organisational capability building and succession planning to ensure leadership continuity
  • Promote cross-departmental collaboration to strengthen the One Village culture and break down silos

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • At least 8 to 10 years of senior leadership experience, preferably in social service, education, or related sectors
  • Proven ability to lead organisations through change, complexity, and growth
  • Strong strategic thinking skills with a track record of translating vision into actionable outcomes
  • Financial acumen with experience managing organisational sustainability
  • People-centric leadership style that builds trust, develops talent, and leads with humility
  • Strong alignment with CCCS mission and values, with openness to embracing and upholding the Catholic ethos
